Pricing and Shipping

Please read all tabs before placing order.

Last Updated: May 10, 2020

NOTE: Minimum order quantity was updated on April 27th, and now again on May 10th. China now requires 3-4 working days to properly inspect packages containing PPE, increasing the amount of time it takes to ship a single shipment. China Customs has also temporarily suspended commercial shipments for orders less than 100 KG (approx. 220 pounds) in weight. Because of this, there are only 2 options left for shipping: small, private shipments at market shipping rates, for only a small total number of items -OR- commercial shipments of 100KG and up.

For small shipments, see the quantity restrictions below. For large shipments, see the approximate estimated quantities required to reach 100KG. For these large shipments, my China agent requires a minimum quantity for each product type. We realize this is difficult for individuals who only need small amounts. If you would like to set-up a group purchase, contact Marie and I can help you set up a group fund link.

Packaged Quantities

  • KN95s: 2/plastic wrapping, 30 packs/box (60 pcs/box)
  • Disposable Surgical Masks (sterilized): 50/box
  • Disposable Masks: 50/box
  • Face shields: 5/pkg
Starting June 2020: Oppotunity to order from US Stock

We have shipped a small stock of PPE to the states for parceling out small orders, resulting in cost savings vs. shipping directly from China. If you are interested, please email me directly. When this stock runs out, we'll continue to ship according to the minimum quantities below.

Small Shipment: Maximum Shipping Quantity, By Courier

  • FEDEX: 500 units TOTAL -- only for those classified domestically as non-medical; this includes KN95s, regular disposable masks, and face shields.
  • DHL: 200 units TOTAL -- open to both medical and non-medical products. This is the only method for shipping surgical (sterilized) disposable masks.

Large Shipment: Minimum Orders Per Product Type, and incrementals

Reaching 100 kg in weight requires buying at least 14,000 units of a single item. If you'd like to build a large order, please contact me directly to discuss.

  • 500 mask MINIMUM -- KN95s: 2/pack, 30 packs/box (60 pcs/box)
  • 1000 mask MINIMUM -- Disposable Surgical Masks (sterilized): 50/box
  • 1000 mask MINIMUM -- Disposable Masks: 50/box
  • 500 pc MINIMUM -- Face shields: 5/pkg

All the packaging is designed to efficiently hold these multiples, and efficient packing means lower shipping fees.

Update on 4/17 - official customs paperwork is now required for any quantity of overseas shipments of PPE; an official China Customs Declaration fee is required for all PPE packages; this is required regardless of country of import or order size. This will be clarified in a final invoice from the agent before payment.

There are 2 payment options available - a simple PayPayl payment or a bank transfer. Paypal is faster, bank transfers take more time and may incur banking fees. Because you are paying the agent directly, there will be a digital invoice issued showing the agent's name, not mine. Also, at this time there is no way to issue a W-9.

Disclaimer - I am a procurement employee of a bigger e-commerce company in a different industry, and my specialty is China; I will handle all order questions and processing, but payment will be made directly to the agent to give you the quickest turnaround time. I hope this isn’t a problem.

I'm do not officially request a processing fee from the buyer, but I would appreciate any donation you could make to the sourcing effort. Any amount is appreciated and will enable to me to continue sourcing for those in need.

There is so much information below. Please do read all of it, but first I will give you a quick summary:

  • Customs declaration now required - 70 USD for all shipments; an additional 85.72 USD when official medical grade products are included.
  • Shipping fees are based on both weight and dimensions of packages, so we can't quote on the site directly.
  • Fedex, DHL, and UPS make frequent and sudden service updates; links provided below. Naturally we cannot predict these - my agent will give the day's shipping update at the time payment is made.
  • Since shipping + customs fees can add up quickly, you may want to order in larger volumes to make the shipping cost worth it. Consider grouping payments with friends, family, or colleagues.

IMPORTANT: READ all information below for all shipping cost and duration details that may impact your shipment. Updates are being made to this page all the time to reflect the current global logistics situation. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

General Overview

Our China agent ships daily via DHL, Fedex, or UPS. The local agent keeps up-to-date on the freight availability of each company. On average, we have heard updates every week. These shipping companies hold shipments in large warehouses, pending flights. As of April 6th, flights became restricted, meaning certain packages were with Fedex/DHL/UPS, waiting in the warehouse to begin shipping. While our agent will hand over packages to courier services within 1-2 days of payment, prioritizing whichever courier can ship out the fastest, the actual ship time is not within our control. I hope you can be patient.

Whenever you're given an estimated ship date, it is a combination of the following:

  • how soon the agent can package product and arrange for shipment
  • how quickly the courier company can arrange for packagers to leave on a flight
  • how quick of a delivery service was chosen

Shipping Costs, with Examples

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: As of April 17th, express shipping services out of China require 2 different kind of fees that may affect a given shipment:

  • 70 USD fee per shipment for customs declaration when the shipment contains protective wear. This includes face shields, KN95s, and regular disposable masks.
  • 85.72 USD per shipment for Medical customs declaration when the shipment contains official medical wear. This includes the Disposable Surgical Masks (sterilized and vacuum packed).

A recent shipment of both KN95 masks and disposable surgical masks had both of these fees levied on the shipment.

Every shipment's shipping cost is calculated on the exact weight and dimensions of your package(s), which means I cannot offer an accurate shipping quote when you place an order request on this site. However, you can reference the previous orders below to get an idea.
